Tyler Cowen at Marginal Revolutions points us to Seth Robert’s blog on self-experimentation. Seth has developed, among other things, a diet (called the Shangri-La diet) by experimenting upon himself. That is, he set up hypotheses, tested them and modified them according to his results. This is abosolutely great. It is not only something we should do with respect to our eating habits but also our ethics and our religion.
